Audra Rose Stanley

Audra’s teaching career began in 2009 within the Power Yoga community. After years of teaching on the Carolina Coast while she studied molecular biology and chemistry at College of Charleston, Audra relocated to Los Angeles to further her training under the renowned guidance of Annie Carpenter and Maty Ezraty focusing on Smart Flow Yoga. Fast forward a few years… she is living in Sayulita MX with her two dogs and is the creator of The Rose Room. Audra’s classes embody playfulness and core strength, while kicking judgment out the door and celebrating who we are at our center. In her experience, the more we connect to our bodies, the more space and openness we will have in our hearts and minds. Expect to be challenged, explore alignment, and dance between classical and more fluid asanas.

Drew Hertz

Meet Drew. Originally from Kelowna, Canada and newly transplanted here in Sayulita. Her vinyasa classes are a fine balance between strength and softness, full of clear alignment cues, with creative and intentional sequencing. She incorporates safe and accessible, massage-based hands on adjustments in her practice for extra relaxation. She keeps it light with her playful, yet grounding energy and finds a way to weave real-life lessons and traditional yoga teachings within her offering. Drew is known for her bad ass playlists and for being unapologetically herself in hopes that her vulnerability inspires others to be themselves.

Jenn Poemer

Jenn is a former NYC-based yoga instructor who left behind hectic city life and a demanding career in advertising to wander through Mexico and pursue her passion for teaching yoga. She completed her advanced training in New York City, in addition to supplemental training in the chakras and Ayurveda. While in Mexico, she has more deeply connected with nature and a softer side of the practice, becoming certified to teach stand up paddle board yoga, yin and restorative. Whether you want to move with your breath through a fiery vinyasa flow, or are looking to relax and rejuvenate with a more gentle practice, Jenn will guide you through your experience safely, with a spirit of loving playfulness.

Mark Hanuman

Mark Hanuman Geraghty is a playful student of yoga, who has been given the amazing privilege of sharing this timeless wisdom with others. He was certified in Sivananda Yoga in 2010 in the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in the Bahamas, where he lived, studied and taught yoga for a year and where he received his spiritual name Hanuman. He is fortunate to be invited back each year to the Bahamas and other ashrams to continue studying as well as leading classes, courses, and teacher trainings.  He was certified in Rocket Yoga in 2014 by his friend and teacher David Kyle, with whom he studied for many years in Puerto Rico, while also teaching at his studio. He owns Tarak Yoga in Puerto Vallarta and when we’re lucky he makes some guest appearances at Rose Room ;)

His classes are fun and energetic, informed by his years as an actor, singer and dancer. He believes that the true power of yoga extends far beyond just the physical benefits; it has the power to transform every practitioner’s energy, mind, and, ultimately, their reality. With love, discipline, and faith, Everything is Possible.
